Staffing Ratios & Compliance
The Unit Staffing Adequacy & Ratio Compliance Audit Log timestamps shift-by-shift assigned nurse ratios per unit and lands each shift in exactly one status bucket against the applicable state limit — or, where a state sets no numeric ratio, against your own internal target. You enter census and assigned nurses per shift; the workbook computes the actual ratio and resolves the applicable limit from its cited state staffing data, never a typed-in number. For the five states with real staffing laws but no numeric ratio — New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont — it renders the words 'Committee + disclosure (no numeric ratio)' and runs no compliance arithmetic, comparing those units against your internal target instead and holding them apart from both the compliant and non-compliant totals. Every limit is a cited public figure or a number you entered; the workbook asserts none of its own.
